Dame Helen Mirren — who will host Saturday Night Live for the first time in just a few weeks — is reportedly set to star in a mulitmillion-dollar British TV drama about the demise of the Titanic.
The four-part ITV1 mini-series will take fans on a “heartwrenching journey” to the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the famous luxury liner, The Mirror said Tuesday. Mirren, 65, who also appeared in a 1979 TV drama about the ship called SOS Titanic.
Filming will begin in Hungary this spring. The Titanic mini-series is expected to debut across the pond in April 2012.
