Spotted: New couple alert! We hear “Gossip Guy” Penn Badgley and Lenny & Lisa celebuspawn Zoe Kravitz have been spending a lot of time together this summer, tattling spies tell The New York Post.

They’ve been taking early morning cab rides and were most recently spied out on a movie date; they saw the hit comedy Horrible Bosses at a local Manhattan cinema.

“He had his arm around her while they waited in line,” one witness recalls.

Penn previously dated his Gossip Girl Blake Lively. Zoe, 21, was most recently romantically-linked to Michael Fassbender, who shared the screen with her in X-Men: First Class.

Reps for the stars aren’t commenting.

James Franco And Ahna O'Reilly Split

James Franco and his actress girlfriend Ahna O'Reilly have ended their five year long relationship.

The 33-year-old actor, writer, director, performance artist, painter and student tells the August issue of Playboy that he is single now, perhaps because his relentless pursuit of education didn't go down well with Ahna.

"It's over," Franco tells the magazine. "We'd been living together in L.A. and then came to New York to go school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her."

The actor has been pursuing multiple degrees in different disciplines – English (Ph. D) at Yale, film making in NYU, fiction writing in Brooklyn College, and occasionally commuting to North Carolina's Warren Wilson College for poetry. He has been accepted to the University of Houston for the doctoral (PhD) program in literature and creative writing and plans to enroll in fall 2012.

"I go to school because I love being around people who are interested in what I'm interested in and I'm having a great experience… I'm studying things that I love so it's not like it's a chore", he told the Washington Post,

Prior to 2006, Franco dated actress Marla Sokoloff whom he met in 2000 on set of Whatever It Takes.

Leighton Meester Sues Mother

Leighton Meester has sued her mother, Constance Meester, for misusing a monthly allowance that Leighton paid to her for the care of her brother Lex, reports TMZ.

Leighton, 25, has been sending Constance $7,500 every month because Lex has severe medical issues and Constance doesn't work.

In her lawsuit, the Gossip Girl star alleges that Constance misused the allowance for her cosmetic procedures and other personal expenses. Constance also tried to extort money from Leighton, telling her daughter that there was an oral contract between them under which Leighton was required to pay her $10,000 every month for life.

Leighton denies there is any oral contract, but Constance has threatened to sue for $3 million.

In her legal filing, Leighton has asked the court to declare there is no oral contract.

Constance has a criminal record; at the time of Leighton's birth she was in federal prison for her association with a drug ring that smuggled marijuana from Jamaica to the United States.

Leighton spent the first three months of her life in a halfway house to which Constance was transferred to facilitate nursing. Later, Constance returned to prison to serve her residual sentence and Leighton's grandmother cared for her.

In the past, Leighton has maintained that her parents are good people who brought her up well.

Harry Potter Franchise Crosses $7 Billion

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has had a record breaking run in the first week–the eight and the last installment of the boy wizard story has already earned $640.2 million and with that, the franchise has crossed the $7 billion mark worldwide.

The film earned $214.9 million at the US box office and $425.3 million at international ticket windows.

“It is an extraordinary privilege for everyone at Warner Bros to share in this piece of cinema history. We are extremely grateful to the Harry Potter fans who have remained loyal to the movies for more than a decade,” deadline.com quoted Jeff Robinov, president, Warner Bros Pictures Group, as saying.

Authored by J.K. Rowling, the first Harry Potter book came out in 1997 and became a rage, and four years later its movie version starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson hit the screens. The movie was equally successful.

“We also want to congratulate the amazing roster of actors and filmmakers, whose artistry and talent is evident in every frame of every film. But special thanks must go to the woman whose incomparable imagination literally changed the world, Rowling,” Robinov added.

Demi Lovato Reiterates She is Single

Demi Lovato reiterated her single status over Twitter on Friday, July 22, for the skeptics not convinced by her earlier denial of reports that she is dating Ryan Phillippe.

"Ladies and gentlement (sic), and also BLOG SITES - I. AM. SINGLE. I'm not dating anyone. I'm loving my independence right now," she tweeted.

Earlier this week, making her first red carpet appearance post rehab at the HTC Status Phone Launch Party, Demi dismissed reports that she was "quietly dating" Ryan.

"No. It's all random stuff," she said..

Demi's new album, Skyscraper, will drop on September 20.

The 18-year-old Sonny With A Chance star recently released the video for the well received lead single from the album.

Giving an insight into the filming of the video, Demi said:

Twilight star Kristen Stewart says that the wedding scene in the upcoming movie ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ was a “top secret”.

The 21-year-old who plays ‘Bella’ in the film franchise, says that the fictitious wedding scene between characters Edward and Bella was a secret event. The studio was locked down and all mobile devices were confiscated, reported Contactmusic.

“It was insane… The crew was completely inconvenienced; there was no cell phone or email. I said thank you so much, because if this (wedding) dress gets on the internet, I’ll die!”

“When I got to set I was as nervous and terrified as I expected myself to be… I had to be locked into the dress to protect it,” said Stewart.

Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger Cope with Son Christopher's Injuries

As Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger cope with the serious injuries sustained by their son Christopher, it's difficult not to wonder how the crises will impact their ongoing divorce.

Christopher, 13, is reported to have collided with a large wave while boogie boarding on Malibu beach the previous weekend.

Maria called 911 from her phone to report the accident, telling the operator in a calm voice.

"He can't move off the beach..maybe like a broken rib or something like that." She offered as explanation, "It's my son...he's awake and breathing..he just can't move...he's having trouble breathing."

Christopher was rushed to ER not far from the scene with several broken bones and a collapsed lung. He spent several days in the Intensive Care Unit and is now expected to make a full recovery.

Maria and Arnold, who are in the midst of a painful divorce following Arnold's admission of a son from an illicit relationship with the Schwarzenegger's long time maid, released a statement earlier today that conveys a sense of unity between the former couple.

"A few days ago our son Christopher suffered an accident at the beach. While it has been a very scary week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends. He is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery. On behalf of our entire family, we want to sincerely thank the paramedics and lifeguards who responded so swiftly as well as the doctors, nurses, emergency room and hospital staff who have cared for our son. They have been extraordinary to him and to us. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and ask for respect and privacy for Christopher and our family."

Ironically, a few days earlier, even while the couple was coping with Christopher's accident, Arnold's attorney filed a response to Maria's divorce petition that appeared insensitive and cruel, considering that the divorce was prompted by Arnold's infidelity.

In her filing Maria had sought alimony and legal costs from Arnold, both of which Arnold turned down in his response.

Insiders tell TMZ that Arnold's legal response was painful to his wife to say the least.

It seems a little incredible that Arnold would stoop so low and behave this way when she is currently stressed out over her son's health.

A more realistic explanation is that his lawyer check marked the same options he would on any divorce paper and committed an oversight.

If that is indeed true, we could see the former governor amend his filing to comply with Maria's original request?

Hugh Jackman to team up with Robbie Williams

Hugh Jackman is planning to sing at a series of concerts in London later this year-and he wants Robbie Williams to join him.

The Australian actor is set to put on the “fun” gigs when he takes a break from starring in the film version of musical Les Miserables-which sees him play the central character of former convict Jean Valjean-and he has been taking inspiration from late American swing singer Frank Sinatra’s Los Angeles performances.

And Hugh is hoping the Take That singer-who previously released Swing When You’re Winning, which was comprised of tracks which are part of the Great American Songbook-will duet with him on stage.

He told the Daily Mail newspaper: “I loved that anything can happen, relaxed feel about Frank Sinatra–and viewing Peter Allen’s tapes also taught me a lot. We’re planning to do some Sunday night concerts when I’m in London in the spring.

“We’re looking for the right space, and the idea is to do the shows when I’ve got time off from Les Miserables. I just want them to be fun. I feel like I should have a whisky in my hand, like Dean Martin, and then get Robbie Williams to come on and join me.”

The 42-year-old actor-who is set to start shooting new movie The Wolverine in October–recently performed his In Concert show at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, which saw him sing classical tunes from musicals Oklahoma!, Carousel, Dreamgirls and the Peter Allen catalogue.

Lindsay Lohan Faces Lawsuit Over rehab Misbehavior

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan is facing a $1 million lawsuit from a rehab worker who has alleged that the actress assaulted her last year.

The 25-year-old actress was at the Betty Ford clinic in California last year, where she served three months of court-ordered treatment.

Dawn Holland, who now uses the name Dawn Bradley, was part of the facility during Lohan’s serving term. She has now accused Lohan of being violent towards her when she tried to administer a breathalyzer test last December.

Dawn has alleged that Lohan grabbed her wrist and “twisted and pulled it for 8-10 seconds”, reported TMZ online.

Dawn, who highlighted the incident, was fired from her job for talking to the media and she later took her complaint to police.

However, she dropped her claims, insisting she no longer wanted to co-operate with the investigation and Lohan did not face any criminal charges.

But Dawn now plans to re-open the case and will file the lawsuit today. She is also seeking at least $1 million.

Makeup artists from one of the most authoritative celebrity websites have made an attempt to analyze makeup of the new princess Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, by writing an “open letter”to her.

The princess is now indeed in the focus of attention. Kate Middleton’s style is, by the way, still liked by the overwhelming majority of professionals and ordinary people, but there are doubts as to her make-up.

Makeup artists from the Redcarpet-fashionawards website write that the main problem with the princess’s makeup is rouge and black eyeliner. Moreover, her makeup style is sometimes called a shame. The princess is given the following advice:

1. Give up the liner. Such a heavy liner is appropriate only for Halloween. For other occasions, especially formal receptions and dinners, you need a different style. The mistake is that the white pencil is visible and it makes the eyeliner rough. Lindsay Lohan Tells a Judge She ‘Can’t Afford’ Counseling

During a hearing today, Lindsay Lohan’s attorney said the actress hasn’t been able to continue her court-mandated therapy sessions due to “financial issues.”

But Judge Stephanie Sautner was unmoved, saying, “If she doesn’t have the means, she’s got to find someone to help her out.”

Maybe her famewhore mother or douchenozzle father, both of whom have sponged off her since childhood, will step in and finally be responsible parenHAHAHAHA.

Katy Perry Leads 2011 MTV Video Music Awards Nominations

The Year of Perry? Quite possibly. Singer Katy Perry notched a leading nine nominations for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday, reducing eccentric superstar Lady Gaga to just three nods.Perry’s nominations include Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction and Best Editing for her West-assisted “E.T.,” and Best Cinematography for “Teenage Dream.” Katy – who hosted the network’s TV special announcing the nominations – is also up for Best Female Video for “Firework” and Best Pop Video for “Last Friday Night (TGIF).”

Perry is, after all, the biggest pop star on the Planet — on paper anyway — after becoming the first artist to spend an entire year in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100.

Nominee runner-ups Adele and Kanye West tied for seven nominations. The “Rolling in the Deep” Brit will compete with Perry for year’s best vid. Others in the category include the Beastie Boys for “Make Some Noise” and Bruno Mars for “Grenade.” In fact, Mars was nominated for four Moonman trophies. Other multiple nominees include Beyonce and Eminem. Rappers Wiz Khalifa, Tyler the Creator, and Big Sean will face off in the Best New Artist category.

Lady Gaga was the big winner at last year’s VMA. Clad in her now-infamous meat dress, the Grammy winner took home eight prizes, including Video of the Year for “Bad Romance.” This time around, she notched just three nods; Best Female Video for “Born This Way” and Best Art direction and choreography.

The VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on Aug. 28.

Denise Richards: Charlie Sheen is very supportive

Actress Denise Richards has praised ex-husband Charlie Sheen for supporting her when she recently adopted a baby girl.

Richards – who has two daughters with Sheen whom she divorced in 2006 – adopted a baby named Eloise.

“We talk every day. He’s met her. He knows how much I love, love kids, so he was very supportive,” the 40-year-old told Us Weekly magazine.
