Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif made history when they sang Wallah Re Wallah in Tees Maar Khan, but that piece of history may now well be re-written.
The two are poised to make cameo appearances in Shirish Kunder's Joker for another item song together, according to Bollywood Hungama. It's a done deal, though they have not yet signed the dotted line.
The song will be the film's highlight feature Salman and Katrina together with the film's lead pair - Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
This will be the first film the two stars - once a rumored couple - make a guest appearance together for an item song.
Salman is close to Farah and her husband, and Katrina has no reason to decline Farah's offer having worked with her in Sheila ki Jawani and made history.
The song will be filmed in early fall and wrap well in time for the film's release on Christmas Day.
Salman has been keen to work in Joker to experience 3D filming, and there couldn't have been a better way of doing say than gyrating with two hotties - Katrina and Sonakshi.
All four stars share high comfort levels with each other though this will be the first time Sonakshi and Katrina share screen space.
The cameos by Salman and Katrina are conceived project Joker as a big film.
