There is speculation that Heroine director Madhur Bhandarkar has once again approached Kareena for the lead role in the film, after he dropped Aishwarya because of her pregnancy.
The film was originally scripted with Kareena in mind as the protagonist, but she opted out of the project, reportedly over differences with the director.
At the presser, she was bombarded with questions about Heroine. Is Bhandarkar in talks with her again?
