Rebecca Black New Song “My Moment” Premieres July 18

Dust off those earplugs, Music Lovers! Internet sensation Rebecca Black became a viral nightmare and made a formidable campaign for the title of “Worst Singer Alive” when her cheesingly-bad music video “Friday” hit the webspace last spring. After a whirlwind summer, that’s included a cameo in a Katy Perry video and a faceoff with YouTube, Becky’s back with a follow-up single.

And no, it isn’t called “Saturday.”

Black, 14, will release a new video and single, titled “My Moment,” via her YouTube channel and website on July 18. The song will be available for download on iTunes and other online retailers beginning on July 19. The new video features footage from the teenager’s real life and sudden rise to fame, including her last day of middle school and her recent hosting gig at MTV’s Online Music Awards.

Sounds like we’re in for a chuckle.

At last count, Black’s video for “Friday” has surpassed Justin Bieber’s “Baby” to become the most played Youtube clip of all time, notching 167 million views and counting.
