Amy Adams Bejeweled Delight at 2011 Academy Awards


Amy Adams rested eyes in a purple L'Wren Scott sequined gown and showstopper Cartier jewels at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at LA'Ss Kodak Theater on February 27.

The 36-year-old star wore a standout high neck and cap sleeve floor length gown from the designer's Fall 2011 collection. The purple color looked flattering on her.

She accessorized with Salvatore Ferragamo black satin platforms and an astounding $1,350,000 worth of Cartier emerald, diamond, and pearl jewels: platinum and diamond 2-carat stud earrings worth $35,000, pearl and emerald necklace, and a platinum and diamond emerald haute joaillerie secret watch bracelet worth a whopping $1.025 million, with 30.75 carat emerald and 575 diamonds worth 15.38 carats.

Her wavy red hair added to her red carpet attitude. She kept it real with light makeup.

Amy and Jake Gyllenhaal presented the awards for Best Documentary Short Subject and Best Live Action Short Film.

Amy was a nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Fighter. The award went to her costar Melissa Leo. True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld, The King Speech's Helena Bonham Carter and Animal Kingdom's Jackie Weaver were the other contenders for the award.
