Companies pay 5K to be in Britney video

Britney Spears reportedly made a whopping half a million dollars from product placements in her new music video, ‘Hold It Against Me’.
From cosmetics to a dating website, companies paid Spears a combined total of $500,000 to feature their items in the much hyped video, reported TMZ.The four and a half minute video, which premiered last week, shows the 29-year-old appearing on a Sony television screen and putting on an eyeshadow made by cosmetic firm Make Up For Ever.It also shows the singer sitting in front of a computer, browsing the Plenty Of Fish dating website, and spraying herself with a bottle of perfume.A close-up of the bottle reveals that it is her own Radiance fragrance, which was released last year.
PlentyOfFish.com is said to have shelled out $200,000 for the lucrative promo spot.Spears had run into trouble with the video after she faced plagiarism charges over the lyrics of the song. The folk group Bellamy Brothers had claimed that the song is a copy of their 1979 hit ‘If I said you have a beautiful body would you hold it against me’.
