Tonya Harding Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Shamed former figure skating champ Tonya Harding, 40, gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Feb. 19, despite reportedly spending the earliest stages of her pregnancy in a drunken stupor.

The tot — whose name has not been revealed — is the first child for Harding and her husband, heating and air conditioning repairman Joseph Price, 42, who live in Washington State. The pair tied the knot in a quickie wedding ceremony after learning of Tonya’s pregnancy last June.

“Everybody’s happy and healthy,” Harding’s friend, Don Horn, said in an interview with The Oregonian Wednesday. “She’s always wanted a baby. She was told she could never have a child … and guess what? It really is a miracle and she really is very happy.”

Harding was the 1991 US Figure Skating champion, but is perhaps best remembered for her role in a plot to have ice rival, Nancy Kerrigan, injured ahead of the 1994 US Figure Skating Championships. She eventually pleaded guilty to one count of hindering prosecution and was permanently banned from participating in events sponsored by the United States Figure Skating Association.

These days, Tonya can be seen offering commentary as a pundit for TruTV.
