Katie Holmes is impressed with husband Tom Cruise's brand to romance, which she refers to as 'manly romance.'
As an example, she recalls Tom taking her on a ride in his P-51 Mustang.
He had the words 'Kiss Me, Kate' painted on the side of the two seat World War II fighter when he took Katie on a ride in the rear seat two years ago.
The 32-year-old Don't Be Afraid of the Dark actress, who features on the cover of InStyle's new issue, tells the magazine of the experience, "It feels like you're on a bike in the sky. I thought, I'm either going to spend this whole flight totally freaked out or realize this is pretty thrilling." [via People]
Katie and Tom, 49, manage to live as a tight knit family despite being busy stars.
"In our family we have a policy: we make it work," Katie says. "We Skype, and we try not to go for a week without seeing each other. We're also very good at setting up camp wherever we go."
Katie takes her 5-year-old daughter Suri along where ever work beckons, and credits the child with inspiring her to perform better.
"My work has changed for the better," Holmes notes. "I have more to bring to a role."
Katie says recent false reports of her pregnancy notwithstanding, she is in no hurry to conceive again because "we already have a very big family; a full household with cousins who are over a lot, and she has her friends.
