Charlie Sheen Winning! And Banking

Charlie Sheen is set to make $300,000 from his first two tour gigs at Chicago on April 2, and Detroit on April 3, a source tells The Hollywood reporter.

The shows sold out within 18 minutes of the booking opening on March 12 in what has become an all time record.

The tour - Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option - is now being extended, with some reports suggesting Sheen may even travel abroad. Five additional dates were announced on March 15, one of them being at the Radio City Music Hall in New York that seats 6,000.

Tour earning won't match the $1.2 million paycheck that Sheen received per episode of Two and a Half Men. It is being estimated that he would need to do ten shows to eqaul that amount Besides, it remains to be seen if interest in the tour persists over the long term.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, tickets for the shows at Chicago and Detroit are available for resale on StubHub for between $50 to $125
