Selena Gomez recently posted the video for her track, Love You Like A Love Song, from her upcoming album When the Sun Goes Down, and the video is an absolute delight.
It is set in a Japanese Karaoke bar and starts with Selena being invited to sing to a video clip of the track, mimicking its meta titling.
The video then flits to-and-fro from Selena in the bar to Selena in the video clip that shows her in scenes reminiscent of the music videos of the 80s. The 18-year-old star looks gorgeous in the video clip in various makeovers including a stylish hippie girl on the beach with a sitar playing boyfriend, and a computer generated Justin Bieber clone.
The video is directed by Geremy Jasper and Georgie Greville (Goldfrapp, Florence & The Machine).
Speaking in a behind-the-scenes video on the making of the track video that is directed by Geremy Jasper and Georgie Greville (Goldfrapp, Florence & The Machine); Selena said, "The video is the craziest video I've ever done."
"Sometimes when you're in love, there are things you can't really explain and it doesn't make sense. That's how I feel when I'm in love."
