Courteney Cox and David Arquette spent the weekend together in Malibu, reports x17online.com
The couple announced in October, 2010 that they were on a trial separation.
They have been married for 11 years and have a 6-year-old daughter, Coco.
Both Courteney, 46, and David, 39, continue to hold out hopes for their marriage.
Speaking about their split, Courteney recently told Harper's Bazaar, "We loved each other so much, and if anything I feel like we've been extremely successful at marriage. If it doesn't work out, I will have huge waves of pain about failing in that department. But right now I don't have that because I don't know what the future holds and I guess because I have strong feelings for him."
Following their split, Arquette took to drinking heavily, but later underwent two weeks rehab that ended early February.
In early March he was involved in a head on collision, but was unhurt.
The LAPD confirmed that he had not fallen off the wagon
"No drugs or alcohol were detected," a LAPD officer tolds E! News. "Looks like it was just a straight-on traffic accident, though in this case he drove on the wrong side of the road. This will be dealt with between him and the other party, but people make mistakes."
