Steven Spielberg Had Megan Fox Fired From “Transformers”

Hot on The Goss Wire this week: Lensman Michael Bay has finally blown the lid off one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood; sex symbol Megan Fox was fired from the third Transformers film because she compared the director to Hitler in an interview.

Fox appeared in the first two Transformers films, and was soon after named one of the sexiest women in the world by FHM Magazine, She claimed she left the third in the series to pursue other opportunities, but that isn’t the story Michael is telling. Bay still insists he was not offended by the jibe that he “wants to be like Hitler on his sets,” but confesses that producer Steven Spielberg was reportedly outraged by the quip and ordered that Megan’s pretty little head be put on the chopping block. The Hollywood legend demanded Fox, 25, be dumped from Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon over the comment, which was made during a 2009 press interview.

“You know the Hitler thing? Steven (Spielberg) said: ‘Fire her right now,” Bay told The Daily Mail this week.

Megan was replaced by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The latest Transformers flick hits theaters on Independence Day.
